Roles
How Inrepli's predefined Roles — Admin, Account Manager, Agent Manager, and Tester — control access to platform data, settings, and Playground testing.
Roles and Permissions
Inrepli includes a set of predefined Roles based on how teams typically manage inbound operations. Each Role provides access to the information and features needed for that person's responsibilities.
The available Roles are Admin, Account Manager, Agent Manager, and Tester.
Admin
The Admin is the primary operator of the Inrepli platform. Admins guide how the Agent works by defining business objectives, adjusting inbound workflows, and providing Company context.
Admins have access to all platform features and data, including:
- All Contacts
- All Companies
- All Conversations
- All Meetings
- Agent Training
- Qualification, Routing, Scheduling, and Escalation Rules
- Workspace settings
- User and Integration settings
The Admin Role is best suited for team members responsible for configuring and managing the overall Inrepli workspace.
Account Manager
An Account Manager is responsible for continuing qualified sales Conversations and closing opportunities. Depending on your business, this person may be an Account Executive, Partner, Managing Director, consultant, or another customer-facing team member.
Account Managers have access to the records assigned to them, including:
- Owned Contacts
- Owned Companies
- Owned Conversations
- Owned Meetings
This allows Account Managers to focus on their own opportunities without accessing unrelated records across the workspace.
Agent Manager
The Agent Manager oversees the Agent's inbound activity. This Role is similar to an SDR manager who reviews Conversations and monitors how the Agent is handling Contacts.
Agent Managers can access:
- All Conversations
- Basic Contact information
- Basic Company information
Agent Managers do not have access to all detailed Contact or Company data. This Role is intended for team members who need to review Agent performance and Conversation quality without managing the full workspace.
Tester
The Tester Role provides temporary access to the Playground.
Testers can interact with the Agent, run test Conversations, and review the Contact experience before the Agent goes live. They do not receive access to live workspace data or administrative settings.
This Role is useful for team members who need to test the Agent but do not require ongoing access to Inrepli.
Custom Roles
Inrepli currently uses predefined Roles and does not support custom permission sets.
Contact the Inrepli team if your organization requires a custom Role, additional access restrictions, or a different permission structure.
