Inbound Models
Understand how the Inrepli Inbound Agent supports sales-led, partner, end-to-end, and product-led growth models.
Overview
Businesses use different sales models to manage new contacts and complete sales. Inrepli can support your inbound process whether contacts are managed by an internal sales team, external partners, Account Managers, or a self-service product experience.
Sales-Led Growth
SDR qualifies, then assigns to an Account Manager.
Partner / Distributor
External partners sell and manage contacts in their regions.
End-to-End Sales
Contacts go directly to an Account Manager for the full cycle.
Product-Led Growth
Contacts self-serve via trial, signup, or purchase.
Sales-Led Growth
In a sales-led model, new contacts are usually reviewed and qualified by a sales development representative. Some businesses may call this role inside sales or telesales.
After the initial review, qualified contacts are assigned to an Account Manager. The Account Manager continues the conversation and completes the sale.
Inrepli can support this model by responding to new contacts, collecting information, checking qualification criteria, and assigning qualified contacts to the appropriate Account Manager. Assignment rules can be based on factors such as location, product interest, industry, company size, or partner coverage.
Partner or Distributor Model
In a partner or distributor model, external partners promote and sell your products or services.
Partners may generate their own contacts. Your business may also receive contacts directly and then assign them to an internal Account Manager or an approved partner.
For example, if a contact is located in a region managed by a distributor, Inrepli can assign the contact to that distributor.
Assignment rules can map contacts to partners based on region, product line, or territory coverage.
End-to-End Sales
In an end-to-end sales model, new contacts are assigned directly to an Account Manager.
The Account Manager manages the full sales process, from the first conversation through the final purchase decision.
Inrepli can respond to the contact, collect relevant information, provide initial answers, and assign the contact to the right Account Manager. This reduces the amount of manual work required before the Account Manager begins the sales conversation.
Product-Led Growth
In a product-led growth model, contacts can trial, subscribe to, or purchase a product through a self-service process.
The contact may interact with an Account Manager only when additional support is required. This may include questions about pricing, implementation, security, or advanced product requirements.
Inrepli can support this model by answering questions, identifying purchase intent, and directing contacts to the correct signup or onboarding process. Inrepli data enrichment and qualification can also be included in inbound workflows to determine whether the customer is a good fit for better future routing or tiering. Additional setup may be required to connect the Agent with your existing trial, signup, payment, or onboarding experience.
Data enrichment and qualification can tier contacts in real time, routing high-value prospects to sales while letting others self-serve.
Choosing the Right Inrepli Setup
Your Inrepli setup depends on how your business completes sales.
If Account Managers or partners usually complete the sale, you can begin by using the Inrepli Inbound Agent to respond to, qualify, and assign new contacts.
If contacts can purchase or start a trial without speaking to an Account Manager, you may need additional setup. This ensures that the Agent works with your existing signup and onboarding process.
Inrepli can support a single sales model or a combination of models. You can define different rules for different products, regions, contact types, or sales teams.
Inrepli supports mixed models — for example, self-service for small accounts and sales-led for enterprise. Configure routing rules per segment to match your go-to-market strategy.
