Agent Overview

Understand how the Inrepli Inbound Agent works, its core capabilities, and how it handles inbound conversations end-to-end.

Managing inbound contacts

Managing inbound contacts can be difficult for many B2B businesses. Some businesses do not receive enough inbound volume to justify a full-time sales development representative. Others assign inbound responses to a junior team member or divide the responsibility across the sales team.

This can create delays and an inconsistent experience. High-quality contacts may wait hours or days for a response, and they may struggle to reach someone who can answer detailed questions about your products or services.

A More Consistent Inbound Experience

The Inrepli Inbound Agent is designed to provide the knowledge of an experienced Account Manager while remaining available across your inbound channels. The Agent can respond as soon as a new contact reaches your business, answer common questions, collect relevant information, and determine the appropriate next step.

This gives contacts immediate support without requiring an Account Manager to manage every initial conversation.

Faster Contact Qualification

Without an Agent, qualification may not begin until hours or days after the first interaction. The Inrepli Agent can begin qualification during the initial conversation and, in many cases, determine whether a contact is qualified within minutes.

Qualified contacts can then be assigned to the appropriate Account Manager. This allows your sales team to focus on contacts that are ready for a more detailed sales conversation.

What the Inrepli Agent Can Do

Consult

The Agent uses your Training to answer questions and guide contacts across your inbound channels. It can explain your products, services, processes, and common requirements while collecting additional information when needed.

Qualify

The Agent checks whether a contact matches your qualification criteria. Qualification may include company fit, business needs, service requirements, purchase timing, or other rules defined by your business. The qualification result helps your sales team understand which contacts should receive priority.

Verify

The Agent collects and reviews information that helps confirm the contact's identity and relationship with their business. Verification may include checking a work email address, phone number, company affiliation, job role, or other available information. Verification is separate from qualification. A contact may still be qualified even when the Agent cannot fully verify every detail.

Assign

The Agent assigns qualified contacts to the appropriate Account Manager, team, or partner. Assignment rules can consider factors such as location, product interest, industry, account ownership, language, or Account Manager availability. For example, if a qualified contact asks about a specific product, the Agent can assign the contact to the Account Manager responsible for that product.

Schedule

The Agent can offer available meeting times and schedule a meeting with the appropriate Account Manager. It can also collect the information required for the meeting and provide the Account Manager with a summary of the conversation. This allows the Account Manager to begin the meeting with clear context about the contact's company, needs, and questions.

Supporting Account Managers

The Inrepli Agent does not replace the Account Manager. It manages the initial response, information collection, qualification, verification, assignment, and scheduling process.

The Account Manager can then focus on understanding complex requirements, building the relationship, and completing the sale. This creates a faster experience for contacts and allows your sales team to spend more time on conversations that require human expertise.
